15th Annual Comedy Jam to Feature Fung, Kilroe and Ramey

Nash Fung will headline, Bonnie Kilroe will be the featured comedian, and Louis Ramey will serve as the evening’s host for the University of Findlay’s 15th Annual Comedy Jam, to be held Saturday, Jan. 21. At 8 p.m. at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets for the general public are $18. They can be purchased at www.marathoncenterarts.org, calling 419-423-2787, or visiting the center’s box office at 200 W. Main Cross St. Admission will be free for UF students, faculty and staff with a valid University of Findlay ID.
Nash Fung was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Seattle, Washington, With 19 years of experience in the industry, Nash is the go-to guy for a creative kind of comedy. He makes his audience participants look great while providing a show full of laughter, stunning magic and mind reading that everyone will be raving about! Nash’s work uniquely ties to his life story. It is visual, funny, and uses a lot of audience participants.
In addition to performing, Nash dedicates his time creating original illusions, mentoring aspiring magicians, and is a passionate volunteer in his community. He also appeared on Penn and Teller’s television show, “Fool Us,” which features aspiring magicians competing against each other.
Bonnie Kilroe has been a professional award-winning entertainer for more than 15 years, the last 10 of which she has dedicated to her one-woman act – Celebrity Imposters. She has been singing and strutting her stuff to the enjoyment of local, national and international audiences, in theatres, convention centers, casinos, cruise ships and less exotic stages. The producer of her own one-woman shows – Divas: Vegas Meets Vaudeville, Country Queens and The Patsy Cline Tribute Show (among others) – this versatile performer is always coming up with new ways to thrill and delight.
Kilroe combines fabulous medleys of music, video and physical comedy to produce a multimedia entertainment experience with professional production values and surprising twists that bring much laughter, delight (and even some tears) to her ever-growing legion of fans. During her shows, Bonnie uses her skills as a performer to encourage audience participation, which always adds an extra element of novelty and surprise. Her natural comedic timing, striking looks and versatile vocals all help to cerate a mesmerizing feast for your entertainment senses! Whether it be a featured performer on the Seabourn Cruise Lines, a co-host of the Merritt Mountain Music Fest, performing at the Vancouver Comedy Festival, at a casino or theatre “near you,” Kilroe is ready to deliver her unique talent to any stage!
With three Comedy Central specials, appearances on “The Tonight Show,” “The View,” VH1, MTV and becoming a finalist on “Last Comic Standing,” Louis Ramey has now set his sights on the globe. He just finished a 40-country world tour that took him to Mumbai, Hong Kong, London, Dubai and Johannesburg. His standup routine could be seen in over 170 movie theaters across the United Kingdom in “The Comedy Store, Raw and Uncut.” Louis is currently shooting a new TV show for The Travel Channel called “Occupation Vacation” in which he will host the series.
A favorite at comedy festivals worldwide, Ramey recently won Gilda’s LaughFest Audience Favorite Clean Comedy Award.
