UF to Feature Findlay Author
Findlay author Kerry Trautman, at the invitation of The University of Findlay, will be reading from her recent chapbook, “To Have Hoped,” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 in Winebrenner Theological Seminary’s Room 254.
Trautman is a founding member of Almeda Street Poets in Toledo, Ohio, and is a member of Abracadabra Studio of Poetics. Her poetry and short fiction have appeared in numerous journals, including “Midwestern Gothic,” “Alimentium,” “The Fourth River,” and “Third Wednesday,”; and in anthologies such as “Mourning Sickness” and “Journey to Crone.”
Trautman often participates in poetry readings and events such as Artomatic 419, 100 Thousands Poets for Change, the Columbus Arts Festival and the Winter Wheat Festival of Writing at Bowling Green State University.
A reception and book signing will follow the reading, which is sponsored by the UF English Department and Convocations.
