All in the Family: Spring Choir Concert to Feature Works by Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
In celebration of Leopold Mozart’s 300th birthday, University of Findlay’s 2019 spring choir concert will offer a “Father and Son Mozart” concert. The event, featuring UF’s Concert Chorale and University Singers, will take place Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts.
The concert will be free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
Pieces will include “Missa Brevis in C Major” by Leopold Mozart and “Requiem in D Minor” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Guest soloists will be Allison Prost, soprano; Sedona Libero, mezzo soprano; Yongmin Kim, tenor; and Samuel Kidd, baritone.
Conducting will be SeaHwa Jung, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music at the University of Findlay. Arata Kaku will serve as the accompanist.
