Board of Trustees Approves Faculty Tenure, Promotions, Sabbaticals

Congratulations are in order for several University of Findlay professors who recently received tenure, promotions and permission to embark on sabbaticals. The actions were approved by the Board of Trustees on Feb. 22.
Faculty receiving tenure and promotion:
- Elkie Burnside, Ph.D., from assistant professor of English to associate professor of English
- John Gillham, Ed.D., from assistant professor of education to associate professor of education
- Adam Larson, Ph.D., from assistant professor of psychology to associate professor of psychology
Faculty receiving tenure:
- Ed Nyman, Ph.D., assistant professor of health and human performance
- Carl Walling, Ph.D., assistant professor of theater
- Ron Walker, assistant professor of health care management
- Bart Welte, E.D., assistant professor of athletic training
Faculty receiving promotion:
- Allison Bauer, Ed.D., from associate professor of education to professor of education
- Richard Dudley, Ph.D., from associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences to professor of pharmaceutical sciences
Sabbaticals approved:
- Chris Ward, Ed.D., professor of business
- Joyce Lammers, Ph.D., assistant professor of physical therapy
- Dan Baczkowski, Ph.D., associate professor of mathematics
