Celebrate Incredible Faculty and Staff
University of Findlay is gearing up to celebrate Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week. This event is being organized by the University’s Faculty Services Committee to thank and celebrate the good work of Findlay’s faculty and staff during what has been a very challenging 12 months.
According to Allison Baer, Ph.D., professor of education; team leader for AYA, middle childhood, and multi-age licensure; and chair of the Faculty Services Committee, the idea for the week came out of discussions on how to let the campus community know how much their work is appreciated by students and their colleagues.
During the week of March 1-5, 2021, the University’s incredible faculty and staff will enjoy special perks, gifts, and activities. Faculty and staff also have the opportunity to get a free Oiler Pride T-shirt!
Students and members of the campus community are encouraged to share their thanks and appreciation by leaving a message at the “You Help Us Stick Around” sticky note station at the Writing Center in the Center for Student Life and College of Business building, sending a personal note, and flooding the @ufindlay Instagram account with words of thanks.
