Donnell Concert Series Welcomes Broadway and Film Star Liz Callaway to the University of Findlay
University of Findlay’s Donnell Concert Series is proud to present an evening with Tony Award–nominated and Emmy Award–winning actress and singer Liz Callaway, one of Broadway’s most celebrated voices, on January 25, 2026 at The Winebrenner Building at the University of Findlay.
Renowned for her luminous voice and extraordinary versatility, Callaway brings a career spanning Broadway, film, television, and symphony stages around the world. She made her Broadway debut in Hal Prince’s legendary production of Merrily We Roll Along and went on to receive a Tony Award nomination for her performance as Lizzie Fields in Baby. Among her most acclaimed Broadway roles is Grizabella in Cats, a role she performed for five years. Her Broadway credits also include Miss Saigon, The Look of Love, and The Three Musketeers.
Off-Broadway and in concert, Callaway has earned widespread acclaim, including a Drama Desk nomination for The Spitfire Grill. Her regional and international performances include appearances at London’s Royal Festival Hall, Hartford Stage, Reprise! in Los Angeles, and with major orchestras at Carnegie Hall, Ravinia, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Kennedy Center. She has toured worldwide, performing across Europe, Asia, Australia, and throughout the United States.
Callaway is also beloved for her work in film and animation. She sang the Academy Award–nominated song “Journey to the Past” in Anastasia and is the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and the King of Thieves and The Return of Jafar. Her voice can also be heard in The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, and numerous other films.
In addition to her performing career, Callaway is an accomplished recording artist with eight solo albums, including her Grammy-nominated 2023 release To Steve With Love: Liz Callaway Celebrates Sondheim. Her recordings span Broadway, pop standards, holiday music, and original works, and her voice appears on more than 40 additional albums.
Accompanying Liz Callaway during her upcoming performance will be the Grammy-nominated Broadway conductor and native of Tiffin, Ohio, Phil Reno. Phil has been the music director/conductor for nine Broadway musicals.
Tickets for “An Evening with Liz Callaway”are available on the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts website. Tickets are $30 for adults, $27 for senior citizens, $10 for non-UF students, and free for UF students, faculty, and staff with a valid University ID.
