The first weekend in December marks the end of the fall semester shows for Findlay Equestrian Show Teams. IHSA Western continues their undefeated streak and IHSA Hunt Seat riders represented Findlay at Otterbein University’s Holiday of Champions Invitational. The show teams return for the spring semester beginning January 19th. Please visit the Show Team Schedule page to keep up-to-date on all equestrian show team events.
IHSA Western
The Oilers were the high point team in both the morning and the afternoon show! Findlay rider Morgan Knerr was the high point rider in the morning and Findlay rider Julia Roshelli was the high point rider in the afternoon. The team finishes out the fall semester as undefeated in their tournaments! They will be back in February with their final two regular season shows.
IHSA Hunt Seat
Findlay took two teams to the invitational, with their first team placing 9th & their second team placing 14th, out of all 16 teams that competed. Individual awards were received by several Findlay students. A High Medal was awarded to Payton McClintock (10th of 17) and Low Medal’s were awarded to Jessie Hood (3rd of 17) and Meghan Moran (4th of 17).
