Equestrian Show Team Results – IHSA Regionals

The University of Findlay’s equestrian IHSA show teams hosted and showed in their respective 2019 Zone 6 Region 1 IHSA Tournaments. Both teams had very successful days, with the IHSA Western team moving on to the Semifinal tournament, the IHSA Hunt Seat team moving on to the Zone 6 finales, and multiple students qualifying to compete individually.  Congratulations to all equestrian riders and coaches on a successful showing!

IHSA Hunt Seat

Findlay’s IHSA Hunt Seat team had a great showing at the regional tournament, with riders earning first place in five divisions. The top 2 placed riders in each division will move on individually to Zone 6 Finals in Lexington, KY at Midway University on Saturday, April 6th. 12 riders from the regional tournament compete in the Zone 6 Finals, and Findlay riders filled 8 of these 12 spots. The University of Findlay will also send a team of 8 riders to this competition.

IHSA Western

Findlay’s IHSA Western team finished the regular season as High Point Team and will be moving on to compete at Semi-Finals. Findlay rider Julia Roshelli finished the season as High Point Rider and will be moving on to compete at Nationals. The University of Findlay will be hosting the 2109 IHSA Semi -Final at the Western Farm on March 16-17.
