It was a busy month for the University of Findlay Equestrian Show Teams with at least one team competing every week leading up to Thanksgiving. Highlights of the month include the IHSA Western team maintaining their undefeated streak, multiple teams receiving highpoint team and multiple IHSA Hunt Seat members qualifying for Regionals.
IHSA Western
Showing on home turf at the University of Findlay Western Barn, the IHSA Western team remains undefeated by earning high point team in both the morning and afternoon shows. In addition to the highpoint team award, Findlay riders also won individual high point rider awards. In the morning show, Hailey Ostrowski was the high point rider, with Julie Roshelli placing as reserve high point rider. In the afternoon, Roshelli placed as high point rider with Julia Bastian receiving reserve high point rider. Congratulation to these three riders and the rest of the Findlay IHSA Western team for their successes this season.
IDA Dressage
In their second show of the season, Findlay’s IDA Dressage team performed at the University of Findlay English Farm where they placed first among the competing schools.
Eventing
In their final show of the season, the Eventing team received several individual awards.
IHSA Hunt Seat
In a two-day tournament hosted by Thiel College at Ohio University, the Findlay IHSA Hunt Seat received a variety of team and individual highpoint awards. On Saturday, Nov. 17, Findlay was the Highpoint team with team member Kaylyn Cole as the Highpoint rider and team member Lizzie Lengling as the Reserve Highpoint rider. On Sunday, Nov. 18th Findlay was the Reserve Highpoint team with team member Hannah Tiso as the Reserve Highpoint rider. Congratulations to the following riders who qualified for Regionals in their categories:
