Some magazine highlights include:
- A piece on the 50th anniversary of UF’s Nuclear Medicine Institute. An explanation about this fascinating medical field is accompanied by interviews with program graduates Shana Schnipke-Duling, DDS, lead technologist Chris Capparelli and Tony Marini, a nuclear medicine technologist.
- A feature on alumnus Adam Hechko, D.V.M., a veterinarian who oversees North Royalton (Ohio) Animal Hospital, which was named American Animal Hospital Association Practice of the year in 2015.
- A tour through California wine country from a workplace safety standpoint. Kymry Brooks ’13 details her job as safety specialist for The Wine Group, the second largest wine distributor in the world.
- A spotlight on UF College of Education’s Clubhouse, a free literacy outreach program that has served approximately 1,300 children in grades one through nine in the past four years. Its offerings are so popular that it typically has a waiting list.
Also in this issue are the University of Findlay’s annual report with financial figures and donor lists, donor impact stories, an update on Center for Student Life and College of Business construction and class notes on major life occurrences for alumni.
