Fall 2017 FindlayMag Focuses on Past and Present

Ever wonder where the University of Findlay’s mascot, Derrick the Oiler, came from, or what Old Main looked like several decades ago? Peruse the latest issue of FindlayMag to find out!
Featuring the theme “Then and Now,” the fall magazine is packed with interesting stories highlighting the University’s history and its current happenings. Features include:
- A comprehensive article about the new Center for Student Life and College of Business, and how it is benefiting students and the community;
- An entertaining exposé about Derrick the Oiler that explains his origins and evolution over the years; and
- A story about The Cave, which is considered the original student life center.
Also included are several campus and student photos from years past, a story about UF givers and community leaders Chris and Dina Ostrander, updates about fall semester campus events, news about alumni and friends of UF, and the University’s annual report.
