- “Tradition of Excellence”
The start of Findlay College in 1882, the selection of orange and black as the institution’s colors in 1892, and the creation of Derrick the Oiler. Over the past 140 years, many things have changed on campus. New buildings, advancements in technology, and the name change to the University of Findlay. However, one thing has remained, and that is the academic excellence, transformative experiences, and supportive community that is grounded in Christian faith.

Take a look around campus and you’ll find the Oiler Women’s Golf Team trophy, as they celebrated an undefeated season and took home the NCAA Division II National Championship.
