Following Delattre’s address, Latta recognized Clyde Shull, a World War II Army veteran, for his service, specifically noting his courageous acts during D-Day, the invasion of Normandy, on June 6, 1944.
Earlier in the day, UF hospitality management students partnered with students from Owens Community College culinary arts program to prepare and serve a lunch in honor of Delattre. The lunch was hosted in the University’s Mazza Museum.
