Graduating UF Senior Receives Military Commission

Kathryn Kelly, who graduated on Saturday from the University of Findlay, was recently commissioned into the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Service Corps, where she will be training to become a veterinarian.
Kelly, who is from McDonald, Pennsylvania, graduated from UF with a degree in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine and biology. During her undergraduate studies, she served in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at Bowling Green State University.
Kelly “represents well the student who indeed has learned how to have a meaningful life and certainly a productive career,” said University President Katherine Fell, Ph.D., at the commissioning ceremony held on campus.
