Meredith Jade, author of “Unseen: Intersecting Faith & Sexuality in the Bible Belt,” will be speaking on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the University of Findlay’s Alumni Memorial Union Multipurpose Room.
Community members who wish to attend this public event are asked to donate $1 to help cover costs.
Jade, an Alabama native who now lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will address her experiences growing up as a gay Christian in the Bible Belt. Her website is www.meredithjade.com.
Her talk is sponsored by the University’s Social Work Club, Phi Alpha, and UNITED.
