Nira Kadakia Receives UNDER 40 Award of the Ohio Pharmacists Association

Nira Kadakia, Pharm.D. has been awarded the prestigious UNDER 40 Award by the Ohio Pharmacists Association for her exceptional leadership, vision, and excellence in the field of pharmacy. The award was presented during the Ohio Pharmacists Association’s 145th Annual Conference held in Columbus from April 14-16, 2023.
Kadakia, who holds a Pharm.D. and BCACP, graduated from The Ohio State University and currently serves as an assistant professor of teaching in pharmacy practice at University of Findlay College of Pharmacy. In addition, she works as an ambulatory clinical care pharmacist at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Oregon, Ohio. Kadakia also serves as an advisor of the University of Findlay chapter of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, where she sets a positive example and advocates strongly for their participation in the Ohio Pharmacists Association.
Kadakia’s contributions to the pharmacy profession extend beyond her academic and clinical work. She currently serves as the New Practitioner Experience (NPX) Committee Chair for Ohio Pharmacists Association and has been actively involved in the American Pharmacists Association, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in ambulatory and community pharmacy.
Donald Bennett, Ohio Pharmacists Association Interim Executive Director, expressed his pleasure at recognizing Kadakia’s outstanding achievements in the field. “We are pleased to recognize Nira Kadakia who has served as an example of leadership, excellence, and vision in the profession,” said Bennett. “She has been a valued member of the Association, and we look forward to her future accomplishments in the profession of pharmacy.”
