ONU Professor to Give Poetry Reading

As a guest of The University of Findlay, poet Jennifer Moore will be giving a free public reading at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 4 in Winebrenner Theological Seminary Room 254. A reception and book signing will follow.
Moore is the author of “The Veronica Maneuver,” which was selected as the Editor’s Choice for the 2014 Akron Series in Poetry. Her poems have appeared in American Letters & Commentary, Best New Poets, Columbia Poetry Review, Barrow Street and elsewhere.
The Bowling Green resident is an assistant professor in the department of English at Ohio Northern University, where she teaches creative writing, literature, and composition; advises the undergraduate literary magazine, Polaris, and coordinates the department Reading Series.
She holds degrees from Mercyhurst University, the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Moore’s visit is sponsored by the UF English Department and Convocations Committee.
