Rhoad Brothers, Both UF Alumni, Serving as College of Business Visiting Executives

University of Findlay alumni Brant and Ty Rhoad, brothers who are successful businessmen, will give a free, public lecture on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in Ritz Auditorium as part of their visiting executive roles this semester for the College of Business.
The two, who were both student athletes at UF, will offer a presentation titled, “Making Putts and Returning Punts in Life and Careers: Oiler Success Stories.”
Brant, who was recently named to the UF Board of Trustees, is a partner and shareholder with Scherner, Sybert & Rhoad, LLC, is an owner and member of New Hire Facts, LLC, and owns BRCB Properties, LLC. He previously provided counsel to Christensen & Christensen, and was an associate with Decker, Vonau, Seguin, Lackey & Vets Co. LPA.
Brant earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2000, and in 2005 received the University’s Old Main Award for distinctive career achievements, civic involvement and service to UF.
Ty is a regional sales manager for the Rehrig Pacific Company, a 100-year-old family-owned business that creates innovative solutions for a wide range of industries. He manages Rehrig’s environmental division for the central and western U.S. that specializes in providing technology and products to the waste and recycling industry. He began his career as an operations manager for optical lenses manufacturer Essilor of America.
Ty graduated from UF in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in business. He was also captain of the Oiler’s football team.
As visiting executives, the Rhoad brothers will also be visiting business classes and participating in other educational events on to discuss leadership skills and offer other vital career advice on Nov. 8 and 9. Additionally, they’ll be returning to their Oiler athletic roots by visiting with coaches and players of the teams they played on – Ty with football coaches and Brant with golf team members and coaches.
