Seminar Offering Updated Information on CBD and Medical Marijuana Use to be Held in AMU
The latest updates on CBD (cannabinoids) and medical marijuana use will be offered at a University of Findlay-hosted public seminar to be held Monday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union.
Marc Sweeney, Pharm.D., professor and dean of Pharmacy Practice at Cedarville University’s Scholl of Pharmacy, will be the featured presenter. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Profero Team, LLC., a pharmacy and health care consulting company. He is a board-certified medical affairs specialist and is certified in pharmacogenomics, pain management, immunizations, and palliative care. His past professional experience includes full and part-time roles in academia, hospice, ambulatory care, long-term care, homecare, and specialty pharmacy consulting.
Sweeney received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and his Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. He completed an academic leadership fellowship at Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, and earned a Master of Divinity from Southwest Bible College and Seminary.
