Senior Art Exhibits Showcase Creative Excellence at Findlay
This spring, the University of Findlay Visual Art Program will host two senior exhibitions showcasing the diverse work of 16 graduating students.
Both exhibits will be on display in the Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery, located in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on campus. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday for the duration of the exhibitions. Admission is free and open to the public.
About Each Senior Exhibit
The first senior art exhibit will run February 9–20 and feature work by Emaly Garrett, an art management major from Willow Street, Pennsylvania; Brady Gazarek, a graphic design major from Delaware, Ohio; Ella Mescher, a graphic design major from Minster, Ohio; Te’jamere Nash, an art major from Massillon, Ohio; Claire Overly, an art management major from St. Marys, Ohio; Shakur Payton, a graphic design major from Pleasant City, Ohio; Rebecca Pueschel, a graphic design major from Findlay, Ohio; and Ray Wallen, a children’s book illustration major from Findlay, Ohio.
The second senior art exhibit will run March 9–19 and feature work by Juleigha Collier, an art management major from Carey, Ohio; Jenison Davidson, an art major from Bluffton, Ohio; Izzac Dean, a graphic design major from Findlay, Ohio; Fernando Huerta, a graphic design major from Willard, Ohio; Jordan Lane, an art management major from Findlay, Ohio; Mara Waire, a graphic design major from Tiffin, Ohio; Omari Welch-Guytan, a graphic design major from Stoughton, Massachusetts; and Charlotte Youngpeter, a graphic design major from Findlay, Ohio.
Reception Details
Receptions for the exhibitions will be held in the atrium of the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on two separate dates: Sunday, Feb. 15, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for the first exhibit, and Saturday, March 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for the second exhibit. Friends, family, and the entire UF community are welcome and encouraged to attend, view student work, and meet the exhibiting seniors. Admission is free and open to the public.
