Submissions for Innovative Leadership Challenge due March 9
University of Findlay students have the opportunity to win cash prizes for their new and innovative ideas at the 3rd annual Innovative Leadership Challenge, hosted by the College of Business. Submissions of the initial entries are due Monday, March 9 at 5 p.m. with the finalists being announced Monday, March 30.
The Innovative Leadership Challenge is an opportunity for students to showcase their leadership skills, problem-solving and creative thinking. Participants choose from one of three categories to compete: innovative leadership, innovative business, and innovative solution.
A total of $12,000 in prize money, donated by Garner Entrepreneurial Endowment, will be awarded.
The final round will be held Wednesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. in the Winebrenner Theological Center. A panel of business leaders from the community will select winners of each category. The judges for the competition will be Sherri Garner Brumbaugh, CEO, and President of Garner Trucking, Inc.; Eric Anderson, Founder & Principal of AR Marketing; Julie Anderson, AR Marketing Principal & Director of Marketing at Fresh Encounter, Inc.; Laurie Zydonik, Executive Director of Raise the Bar – Hancock County.
