The University of Findlay Named “A Best in the Midwest” College by The Princeton Review
The University of Findlay is one of the best colleges in the Midwest according to The Princeton Review. The nationally-known education services company recommends the school as one of 159 institutions in twelve Midwestern states it names to its “Best in the Midwest” list for 2015.
“This is important national recognition for The University of Findlay,” said Dr. Katherine Fell, president of The University of Findlay. “This honors reaffirms Findlay’s commitment to creating an educational environment that guides our students to meaningful lives and productive careers.”
To determine the 159 “Best in the Midwest” colleges, The Princeton Review analyzed colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Collectively, the 648 colleges named “regional best(s)” nationwide constitute only about 25 percent of the nation’s 2,500 four-year colleges.
“We developed our “Best Colleges: Region by Region” lists to offer guidance for the growing number of students and parents now seeking colleges closer to home. We selected The University of Findlay — and the other terrific institutions on our ‘regional best’ lists — primarily for their excellent academic offerings,” explained Robert Franek, Princeton Review’s Senior VP / Publisher.
The Princeton Review does not rank the 648 colleges in its “2015 Best Colleges: Region by Region” list hierarchically or in various categories.
