The University of Findlay to Host Naturalization Ceremony April 8

The United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, will hold a naturalization ceremony at The University of Findlay at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex with the Honorable John P. Gustafson, United States Judge, Northern District of Toledo, presiding.
Community members are welcome to attend.
Preston J. Eberlyn, The University of Findlay Student Government Association President and graduating senior, will open and adjourn the court. Guest vocalist, Sandra Agans Krueger, mezzo soprano, accompanied by the Vanlue High School Concert Band will perform the Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful. Nicholas J. Thompson, The University of Findlay Student Government Association Vice-President and graduating senior, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Findlay High School Senior Andrew Weiss will address the obligations of citizenship. Hancock County Seniors Adam August, Arcadia, Rachel Welch, Cory-Rawson and Isaac Sexton, Van Buren will speak to the advantages of citizenship.
The Vanlue High School Concert Band, under the direction of Katie Ferren, Director of Bands, Vanlue High School will provide music for the program.
The Sons of the American Revolution, led by Daniel Haas, will present the colors.
Congressman Robert Sprague, U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 83rd congressional district will provide remarks and Tina Brown, United States District Court Operations Specialist, will read the names of the new citizens.
