Three superb students enrolled in this fall’s COMM110 course, “Principals of Speech,” at The University of Findlay will compete in a speak-off on Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Virginia B. Gardener Fine Arts Pavilion’s Great Lape Hall. The event will be free and open to the public.
Participants will include sophomore Jamie Saums from Fort Jennings; and freshmen Kailey Leal from Van Buren, and Sara Bornhorst from Fort Laramie.
Judging will be Sara Kornokovich and Diana Montague, Ph.D. Kornokovich is the director of content and production for the Cleveland Browns. Montague is a communication professor at UF who has taught the public speaking course for several years.
The winning presentation will be declared UF’s “Best Informative Speech of Fall 2015.”
