UF Alumna Named to Emerging Leaders Program
University of Findlay is proud to announce that one of its esteemed alumni, Nkoli Mungabo ‘22, has been named one of the National Emerging Leaders through the SDMS (Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Foundation Emerging Leaders Program. Mungabo is among the ten exceptional individuals that were selected for this prestigious recognition.
The SDMS Foundation Emerging Leaders Program is designed to identify and mentor future leaders in the field of sonography. The program offers participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, projects, and leadership education related to the profession’s future. It also provides networking opportunities with prominent figures in the field, allowing emerging leaders to contribute their input and perspective on issues and trends evolving in sonography education and practice.
As part of the program curriculum, Mungabo will participate in various leadership education opportunities, including live presentations on general leadership topics, SDMS leadership, and careers in sonography. These experiences will equip her with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in future endeavors. In recognition of her accomplishment, Mungabo will receive one year of free SDMS membership and access to an exclusive Emerging Leaders “alumni” community. All program participants who successfully complete the program will be considered for an SDMS Foundation Educational, granting them priority consideration for attending the SDMS Annual Conference.
