University of Findlay Announces Marketing and Social Media Ambassador Program
To provide University of Findlay students with real-world experience before they graduate, the University’s Office of Marketing and Communication has established a new Marketing and Social Media Ambassador Program beginning this fall.
Students selected for this competitive program will work under the guidance of the professionals in the Office of Marketing and Communication and will have the opportunity to learn and engage in all aspects of marketing and social media management including advertising campus development, social media content strategy, content development, and video production to help drive recruitment.
“This is a cutting-edge program that creates opportunities for our students to develop crucial marketing and social media skills that are very much in demand,” said Jeremy Pittman, vice president of enrollment management. “Students will learn how to manage and build multi-faceted enrollment marketing plans that include advertising planning, media buying, social media management and search engine optimization tactics.”
Students selected as Marketing and Social Media Ambassadors will work directly with the experts in the University’s Office of Marketing and Communication and learn how to use the technology platforms required for in-demand marketing professionals including social media planning platforms, Google Analytics, Google Ads, email marketing tools and search engine optimization tools.
Students will be chosen for this highly selective ambassador program based on their experience with social media management and/or marketing communication, a grade point average of a 3.2 or higher and their communication skills.
Selection for the program will include an interview, copyrighting test and examples of applicable experience.
The Marketing and Social Media Ambassador Program is open to any undergraduate student.
The deadline to apply is Friday, August 28. Interested students can click here for more information.
