The University of Findlay Board of Trustees, which met March 19 and 20, approved several items on its agenda, including improvements to two residence halls.
This summer Morey and Myers residence halls will be receiving new heating and cooling systems and windows.
With the board granting approval last fall to create a hybrid security/campus police department, members last week were updated about continuing efforts regarding the transition. A steering committee has been established that is helping to draft agreements with the Findlay Police Department and Hancock County Sheriff’s office. The University is expecting to post the position for campus police chief this spring.
Additionally, the board approved a pending list of candidates for the 2015 graduating class. Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 2.
