UF Board of Trustees Welcomes Two New Members
The University of Findlay’s Board of Trustees has recently named Chuck Bills and Angie Briggs to the Board.
Bills, president and CEO of Ohio Logistics, attended Indiana University for Education and Recreation. A strong supporter of the University, he stated, “The more the University grows, the more that energy is transmitted throughout the whole community. The University brings a young vibrant atmosphere and culture to the community through athletic and cultural events,”
Bills believes in giving back to the community and, along with being a contributor to UF’s Center for Student Life and College of Business, he has served as Chair of the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the University of Findlay Business Advisory Board, and is a Trustee of Owens Community College.
Briggs graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Toledo. Currently a Principle and Corporate Secretary of Roppe Holding Company and Owner/Operator of both Biggby Coffee locations in Findlay, Briggs recognizes, “University of Findlay is part of the backbone of our community. Its students, faculty, and staff have a huge impact not only in Findlay, but also the surrounding areas. UF has the brightest faculty and staff, who are preparing our students to be leaders and contributors in our communities.” Briggs professional experience will make the University even stronger.
Active in the community, Briggs is President of the Kaubisch Public Library Board of Directors, Trustee of the Greater Fostoria Community Foundation, member of the Wood County Republican Women’s Club, University of Findlay Capital Campaign Task Force, and past member of the University of Toledo Family Business Center and University of Findlay Board of Counselors.
