UF President to Discuss Leadership Lessons March 27 at ‘Fridays at Findlay’
Preparing to retire this summer, University of Findlay President Katherine Fell, Ph.D., has plenty of work to accomplish this year – including sharing her insights on executive leadership at the March 27 “Fridays at Findlay”.
President Fell will discuss “Leadership Lessons I’ve Learned as UF President,” during a question-and-answer session facilitated by Marcia Latta, Ed.D., a retired UF vice president.
Dr. Fell has served as president since July 1, 2010. She is UF’s 17th president and first female president since it was founded in 1882.
“We invite the community to join us to hear President Fell share lessons she has learned as a servant-leader of Oiler Nation through changes and challenges of the past 16 years,” said Ken McIntyre Jr., vice president of the University Advancement division, which oversees the lecture series.
President Fell is known for her commitment to providing an outstanding learning environment for students, passion for supporting the Findlay/Hancock County community, and pride in the many academic and athletic accomplishments of UF students, McIntyre said.
The event is open to the public and will take place in the Winebrenner Building, TLB Auditorium on the UF campus. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for a breakfast buffet with the presentation from 7:50 to 9 a.m.
Sponsored by WesBanco, the Fridays at Findlay lecture series encourages continued educational opportunities for members of the community, the campus, and alumni.
Register online by March 24 at www.findlay.edu/FridaysAtFindlay or call University Advancement at 419-434-5334 for more information. The fee is $12 for adults and $6 for students.
