UF’s Director of Human Resources Robert Link Takes Position at University of Wyoming
After 20 years of service to the University of Findlay, Robert “Bob” Link has announced he will step down as Director of Human Resources to pursue a new opportunity as Associate Vice President of Human Resources for the University of Wyoming.
Link has been an integral part of the University since his employment began in 2002. In his 20 years at UF, Link served as Director of University Stores, 2002-16; Business Manager, 2003-16; Director of Human Resources, 2004-22; and a member of the President’s Cabinet since 2016.
“Although I am sad to see Bob leave our campus community after 20 years of loyal service and leadership, I congratulate him upon being selected for this highly competitive opportunity. I wish Bob, Chelsey, and their children much happiness in their new venture,” said Katherine Fell, Ph.D., president of the University of Findlay.
Over the years, Link has seen UF through many important changes, including the launch of Human Capital Management (HCM) in Workday, which was accomplished within budget and in 9 months—making this launch among the top 1% of Workday launches. “Under pressure of a multi-faceted, highly demanding job, he has remained calm and focused,” Dr. Fell noted.
Link has also served as a community leader beyond campus with Hancock County American Red Cross, Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio, United Way of Hancock County, and Hope House.
