University of Findlay Announces National Search for 18th President
Findlay, Ohio – November 20, 2025 – The University of Findlay Board of Trustees has announced the launch of a national search for the institution’s 18th president. This search follows the decision of current president, Katherine Fell, Ph.D., to retire at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 academic year after 16 years of distinguished service to the University.
Board of Trustees Chair Chris Ostrander has approved the formation of an Executive Search Committee to guide the process. The committee is comprised of representatives from the Board of Trustees, University Cabinet, faculty, staff, student body, alumni, and members of the First Church of God and Churches of God General Conference, ensuring broad representation from across the University community.
The University has published a full position prospectus outlining the role and qualifications. Applications will be accepted through January 10, 2026. Candidates may submit materials via email to Heather Ward, Vice President of Human Resources, at heather.ward@findlay.edu, or through the University’s live requisition portal. The anticipated start date for the new president is July 1, 2026.
