University of Findlay Board Member Receives Leadership Award

Dr. William Kose joined the University of Findlay Board of Trustees in 2021, after working as an internal medicine physician for Blanchard Valley Medical Associates, serving on several medical boards, and serving as a chair holder and board member within multiple community organizations. Through his efforts as the vice president for special projects at Blanchard Valley Health System, Dr. Kose has been named as a 2023 recipient of the Baldridge Foundation’s Leadership Awards.
“The Foundation Awards for Leadership Excellence were established to recognize leaders in business, non-profit, government, health care, education, and cybersecurity,” said Al Faber, President and CEO of the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, Inc. “We have four categories of leadership awards that recognize outstanding individuals, leaders, and supporters who embody Baldrige leadership and management values and principles, and who have provided outstanding service to the Baldrige community and beyond.”
Dr. Kose was recognized for his efforts in the category of healthcare, for his role as Blanchard Valley Health System’s Vice President for Special Projects. Dr. Kose and other Foundation Leadership Award winners were recognized earlier this month at the Foundation Awards luncheon held as part of the annual Quest for Excellence conference near Washington, D.C.
