The University of Findlay has again been named to the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings.
The overall ranking of 968 institutions in Ohio is based on 15 factors in four categories. Scrutinized are student outcomes, each school’s academic resources, student engagement and diversity of students, faculty and staff. At a more micro level, information on areas such as the percentage of faculty that published research, the ability of graduates to repay student debt, and the number of accredited programs is also examined. Data is gathered from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education and the College Scorecard.
Also used were responses from national student surveys, conducted by Times Higher Education, that asked questions about areas such as teaching methods and real-world applications.
The information is designed to answer questions that matter most to students and their families.
