University of Findlay Names Sarah Johnson, M.S. as Director of Financial Aid
University of Findlay has named Sarah Johnson, M.S., as the new Director of Financial Aid.
Johnson has spent the past 14 years at Tiffin University, serving in their office of undergraduate admission. Initially starting as a counselor, Johnson worked her way to titles of Campus Visit and Event Coordinator, Assistant Director, Director, and eventually left TU as their Executive Director.
Making the change from admissions to financial aid, Johnson will continue to work with incoming students and their families, but will now be doing it as part of the Oiler family. “I am most excited to be part of this evolving community,” said Johnson. “I’m extremely interested to see how UF’s systems and departments work when it comes to recruiting and retaining students, building relationships with an entirely new group of individuals, and immersing myself in orange and black!”
Johnson is still settling into her new role, joining the University of Findlay in December. She takes the leadership role in the office of Financial Aid, managing three financial aid counselors and one associate director, and has enjoyed the relationships she’s already started. “The individuals I’ve met so far are all very pleasant and know so much about what they do. I can’t wait to keep building our work relationships,” said Johnson.
