University of Findlay Students Perform in All-State Collegiate Band and Jazz Ensemble

Nine University of Findlay students, representing a variety of majors were selected to perform in the Ohio Private College Instrumental Conductor’s Association’s (OPCICA) All-State Collegiate Band and Jazz Ensemble on Jan. 20-21.
“They rehearse for a weekend and present a concert on Sunday afternoon,” Taylor said. “These students performed with the best in the state – most (students) from the other institutions were music majors at their home school.”
The event was hosted at the College of Wooster, Jack Taylor, professor of music and director of bands, was one of the directors of the All-State Jazz Ensemble. The following students performed:
