Largest Gift in University of Findlay History Announced
This year, the University of Findlay was blessed with generosity in April of this year. Billy ’96 and Brenda Watterson donated $6 million to support building the new Watterson Center for Ethical Leadership as part of the University’s Together We Will comprehensive campaign.
University of Findlay Becomes First to Implement Augmented Reality in Sonography Program
The University of Findlay’s College of Health Professions became the first academic program in the United States to incorporate a new augmented reality technology, developed by MediView XR, inc., in their hands-on Sonography Program curriculum. The technology allows students to use computer-powered glasses that project images, such as an ultrasound, on a user’s view of the real world.
When Tragedy Strikes: UF Student Shares Her Story of Perseverance & Support

UF Art Education Student Leads Her Own Classroom
Haley Kalb ’22 found herself back in the same high school classrooms she once used as a student. Kalb was in her senior year at the University of Findlay, ready to graduate from Findlay’s College of Education. Success Models Success: University of Findlay Freshman Kaleb Gillespie
This is the story of Kaleb Gillespie, and his appreciation for the University of Findlay. Gillespie made the trip from Leipsic, OH to the University of Findlay, excited to start his educational journey in the Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) program. To help support Gillespie during his college experience, he was awarded funds from the Billy J. and Brenda Watterson Scholarship Endowment, established in 2013 for students in the EHSS program.

After 140-years, the University of Findlay launched the public phase of its largest fundraising campaign in school history. Together We Will: The Campaign for the Future of University of Findlay seeks to raise $75 million over a seven year period. The mission of the Together We Will campaign is to develop University of Findlay graduates who serve and lead with purpose, passion, and skill. The primary objectives are to provide affordable education and enrich the student experience.
