Wreath Laid at UF Veterans Honor Wall

As a prelude to the annual Wreaths Across America effort, local organization representatives placed a wreath at University of Findlay’s Veterans Honor Wall on Monday, Dec. 2.

Participating were UF Trustee Sherri Garner Brumbaugh, president/CEO and owner of Garner Transportation Group; Gavin Smith, a Fifth Third Private Bank executive; and U.S. Air Force veteran Rahman “Buzz” Dyer, Ph.D., associate professor of education at UF.

Garner Transportation Group donates transportation for Wreaths Across America, a national group that coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies across the United States, at sea, and abroad for deceased veterans. This year’s effort will be observed at cemeteries locally and nationwide on Dec. 14.
