Equestrian Show Team Results – 2/02 & 2/09-10

The Oiler’s are back at it! Findlay’s equestrian show teams started spring semester with strong showings, with each team receiving either High Point team or Reserve High Point team. The IHSA Western team remains undefeated, and students from both IHSA have qualified for Regionals.

IHSA Western

Findlay was the high point team in both the morning and afternoon shows. In the morning show, Morgan Knerr was the high point rider and Anna Ritzi was the reserve high point rider. In the afternoon show, Julia Roshelli was the high point rider and Hailey Ostrowski was the reserve high point rider. Congratulations to the following riders who are currently qualified for Regionals:

Intercollegiate Dressage Association

In their penultimate showing for the 18-19 season, the IDA team has hit their stride. Show at home at the University of Findlay English Farm, the team claimed first place in front of Albion with individual team members ranking in the top 10. Currently, the team is leading the region and is hoping to be one of twelve teams invited to Nationals.

IHSA Hunt Seat

The IHSA Hunt Seat Team started off spring semester strong earning Reserve Champion Team in both the first and second show. Findlay rider Lizzie Lengling was Highpoint Rider both days while Alyssa Simin tied for Reserve Highpoint Rider on the 9^th and Julie Hood tied for Reserve Highpoint Rider on the 10th.
