Homecoming 5K to Promote Heart Health

The University of Findlay’s Academy of Student Pharmacists, in collaboration with the University of Findlay Alumni Office, will hosting a 5K run and walk on Oct. 15 during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
The event will promote heart health. Proceeds will support the American Heart Association and the UF Academy of Student Pharmacists.
Registration will begin at 6:45 a.m. and the race will start at 8 a.m. at the Alumni Memorial Union on Frazer Street. The cost to participate is $20, or $10 for UF students with valid ID if registration is postmarked by Sept. 25. For those who register after Sept. 25, the cost is $25 and they are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
Parking will be available at the Ralph and Gladys Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex on North Main Street.
The grand prize is a Findlay weekend getaway, including hotel accommodations, dinner for two and movie tickets. Other prizes include UF merchandise, restaurant gift certificates and more.
