Thankful Thursday ‘18: UF Grateful to Giving Tuesday Participants

Generous givers to the University of Findlay came through in a big way on Giving Tuesday. Ninety two donors, whose contributions were matched by the Findlay Hancock County Community Foundation, enabled $27,194 to be collected on Nov. 27 for scholarships and University operations that have the most impact on student success.
“We are grateful to have alumni, parents and friends of the University who care deeply about the meaningful impact we have on the lives of students and our community,” said Joe Edens, assistant director of annual giving.
Through the #GivingTuesday NOW Grant, each gift of up to $500 was matched by the Community Foundation.
The funds will go toward areas such as:
- Tuition scholarships for students in need;
- Vital student services that provide academic, emotional, physical and spiritual student support; and
- Attracting and retaining the best faculty committed to student achievement.
