Thankful Thursday ’19: UF Giving Tuesday Collection Soars

Thank you to everyone who gave to the University of Findlay on Giving Tuesday to support students in pursuit of their academic dreams! More than 200 donors contributed over $50,000 digitally and through traditional means. The amount represents nearly twice as much as was raised on Giving Tuesday in 2018.

The University’s Giving Tuesday organizers expressed appreciation for the community’s continuing generosity.

“From the advocates on and off campus promoting Giving Tuesday to the donors who made the day such a success, we are truly thankful for the generosity of Oiler Nation,” said Kelly Warner, director of annual giving. “It is so exciting to see the UF community rally together for the betterment of our students and UF! Without private support we could not fulfill our mission to prepare students for meaningful lives and productive careers, and for that we are grateful.”
