The University of Findlay Named among “Best in the Midwest” by U.S. News

The University of Findlay (UF) has earned top rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s annual survey of “America’s Best Colleges.” This is the 10th consecutive year that UF has been listed among the top regional universities in the Midwest.
“I commend our faculty and staff for the University’s continued excellent U.S. News and World Report rankings,” said President Katherine Fell, Ph.D. “Our efforts will continue to focus on meeting the high academic expectations of our students, their families and our entire UF community.”
The annual rankings, in which U.S. News groups schools based on categories created by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, provide a resource for parents and students researching colleges and universities. The rankings give an overview of each school, including tuition, financial aid, and programs available.
Schools are ranked based on key measures of quality including peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, graduation rate performance, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving.
Using a proprietary methodology, the annual U.S. News and World Report rankings are developed to help consumers evaluate and compare data compiled from more than 1,600 accredited four-year schools.
