Art Speaks Exhibition on Display in Lea Gallery Through November
The Art Speaks exhibition has been extended and will be on display through November at the University of Findlay’s Lea Gallery in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.
Art has a long history of commenting, revealing, protesting, and reimagining aspects about the society we live in. With the unusual, some say unprecedented, times we are currently living in, artwork provides an interesting commentary.
Featured artwork in the exhibit addresses a contemporary issue of importance and consequence to our world including: sociological, cultural, political, spiritual, economic, personal, historical, and environmental.
Art Speaks features artwork from Adam Russell, Amber Kear, Carol Eichert, Christopher Triner, David Earl Johnson Ed Corle, Edgar Ramirez, Jennifer Cremeans, John Rauch, John Smolko, Laura Corle, Lauren Wood, Lorna Gonsalves, Margaret Brostrom, Michael Tharp, Phillip Sugden, Rick Polhamus, Robert Garcia, Thomas Tharp, Tim Wilson, Yusuf Lateef.
The Lea Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
