Godspell: UF Theatre Performance

University of Findlay’s Theatre program will be performing “Godspell” on the weekend of March 25-27, 2022 at the Donnell Theater, MCPA. Showtimes are as follows: March 25 and 26, 7:30 p.m., March 27, 2:00 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to showtime.

Tickets are available at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts box office at 200 W. Main Cross St., by visiting MCPA website, or calling 419-423-2787. Ticket prices are General Public: $14; Seniors (60+): $8; UF faculty, staff, and students: Free with valid University ID.

Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, “Godspell” features a retelling of Biblical parables using improvisation, games, and creative storytelling. Conceived by John-Michael Tebelak and featuring music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (“Wicked”, “Pippin”, “Children of Eden”), the score includes such memorable songs as; “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” “Turn Back O Man,” “Beautiful City,” and the international hit, “Day by Day.”
