Study Abroad Returns to University of Findlay

University of Findlay will once again be offering students the opportunity to study and serve abroad in the spring and summer 2022 semesters.
In addition to general study international experiences where students get to explore different areas and cultures around the world, many UF academic programs offer opportunities to provide unique experiences specific to certain majors as a way to support students as they work toward their future profession.
Upcoming study abroad programs include the Ecuador Scholars’ Program, London Scholars’ Program, Seville Scholars’ Program, Rakuno-Gakuen Animal Science Study Tour, Oilers Serving Abroad International Service Program, and the Kake Bridge Program.
Thanks to the International Travel and Education Committee (ITEC), UF now has a new opportunity for faculty members. The ITEC committee traditionally offers professional development funds for full-time faculty members to gain international and intercultural experiences that will help them bring a global perspective to classroom instruction and the University as a whole.
For spring of 2022, ITEC is offering a small honorarium to support a guest speaker, presenter, or facilitator that will provide an international perspective on a curriculum topic in each college. The lecture, presentation, or workshop can be a special event in the college or can be in a specific course or classroom. The deadline to apply for these funds is Dec. 17, 2021.
Application deadlines for the spring and summer study abroad programs are approaching quickly. For more information on upcoming study abroad programs and international study or service opportunities, visit UF’s Study Abroad webpage.
