Graves Named Chair of Religion and Philosophy
Shawn Graves, Ph.D., associate professor of philosophy, has been named Chair of University of Findlay’s Department of Religion and Philosophy. Graves started at University of Findlay as an assistant professor of philosophy in 2013 and has since become an associate professor of philosophy.
When asked about the new position as chair, Graves mentioned, “It’s a privilege to be in this leadership position; we have a very experienced and capable faculty and there’s a lot of exciting work to be done in the department.” In this new role, he hopes the university and the Findlay community can benefit from the Department of Religion and Philosophy.
Graves is looking forward to making the Religion and Philosophy Department’s vision into a reality and continue to build a robust, intellectual community.
